Dual Sport Motorcycle Ride through the Ouachita Mountains around Mena, Arkansas
The 2000 Ozarks Fall Color Tour dual sport motorcycle ride was in a word; WET. The first weekend in November is the normal peak for seeing the fall colors, but there is certainly a chance of rain. 50 riders braved the misty riding conditions to see a slice of Arkansas most people never see.
Saturday was 150 miles of riding with 96% of the route being dirt. The route offered numerous creek crossings and some challenging trailriding options.
Sunday was 145 miles of ridgetop riding with 52% of the route being dirt.
Let's see what changes I develop for the 2001 ride!!! And, as always, the ride will be the 1st weekend in November.
Below are some of the photos taken by participants.
